Community Activation Package
Designed for buildings and neighbourhoods where residents live close to each other but rarely meet. We help turn neighbours into a community through shared experiences, local collaborations and simple traditions. Our role is to create the first moments where people meet, cook, and shape their neighbourhood culture together.

Process
First Steps
The first steps are free of charge and designed to test interest within the neighbourhood. If enough residents are excited to participate, we move forward together.
01
Kick-Off Meeting Owner / Operator
We align with the owner or operator on the goals for the neighbourhood and identify opportunities for community life. Together we define the format, the location and the local partners that can enrich the gathering.
02
Tenant engagement
We introduce the event to residents and invite them to participate. The message is simple: come cook, taste, learn and meet your neighbours. Participation is open and flexible so everyone can contribute in their own way.
Action
03
Workshops
Over two days we host a relaxed open-air gathering where residents meet and learn from local producers and artisans. Through small hands-on workshops, neighbours cook, taste and create together while getting to know each other in a shared outdoor kitchen. Participation is open and informal. People can join where they feel comfortable, whether helping prepare the meal, learning a craft, or simply enjoying the atmosphere.
04
Co-creating a plan
The weekend culminates in a communal dinner prepared together using many of the ingredients and dishes created during the workshops. The goal is not perfection but connection. By the end of the event, neighbours have shared their first experience together and the first traditions of their neighbourhood begin to take shape.
These gatherings are often organised together with workshop hosts from our sister NGO COOLINARIK, which specialises in bringing people together through food, local producers and hands-on cooking experiences.
The Deliverables:
05
Marketing Material
To document the success of the community activation, we provide marketing material showcasing the key events and progress. Property owners or managers can use this material to promote the unique community and sustainability aspects of the property, making it more attractive to future residents.
06
Happy Neighbours
By the end of the process, residents have shared meaningful experiences, met their neighbours and taken part in creating something together. What started as an event becomes the beginning of a real neighbourhood culture, where people know each other, feel more connected and are more likely to initiate activities together in the future.
